EasyLessonPlan is owned and operated by Solomon Tatwebwa, trading as EasyLessons ("we", "us"). These terms form an agreement between you and Solomon Tatwebwa.
Our registered address for legal notices and consumer enquiries is:
Solomon TatwebwaYou can reach us at easylessons@easylessons.app.
By creating an account, signing in, or continuing to use EasyLessonPlan, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You confirm you are of legal age and, where you sign up on behalf of a school or organisation, that you have authority to bind it.
EasyLessonPlan is free to use with a registered account. We do not take payments at present and we ask for no payment details. Creating an account never places you on a paid plan, and no free account will ever be turned into a paid subscription automatically.
The plans and prices shown on our pricing page are proposed. They cannot be bought today and no charge can be made from this site while the free period continues.
If paid plans become available, taking one will be optional and will require you to go through a checkout and agree explicitly to the amount, the billing interval and the fact that the subscription renews. Before then we will publish the payment provider, the renewal, cancellation and refund terms, and any applicable taxes. Continuing to use the free service will never, by itself, create a payment obligation.
No payment processor is taking orders for EasyLessonPlan at the moment. Where an order was placed with us in the past, the refund and cancellation rights given at the time of that order still stand — see our Refund Policy — and you can contact us at the address in section 1 about it at any time.
Schools and other organisations can be invoiced. While the free period continues there is nothing to pay, so an invoice is only relevant to a future paid plan. If you need one, email us at easylessons@easylessons.app with your school's billing details and we will agree the arrangement with you in writing before any plan starts.
Lesson content is produced by third-party AI models based on the details you provide. Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your class — including standards codes and their wording. Before teaching from an output you need to check its accuracy, its curriculum alignment, its suitability for your class and any differentiation suggestions it makes. Outputs are not a substitute for professional judgement and are not a substitute for specialist SEND advice.
You keep the inputs you enter, and as between you and us we make no claim to the outputs generated for you. We cannot promise you exclusive copyright in AI-generated material: whether such material attracts copyright at all, and who owns it, depends on the law where you are and on the terms of the AI providers in the chain. Exported files are marked in their metadata as AI-generated (generator, AI provider and timestamp) and carry the visible footer "AI-generated with EasyLessons. Teacher review required before classroom use." We do not record whether you have reviewed an output, so nothing we produce states that a review has happened.
You are responsible for what you enter and for having the rights to it, and you must not use the service to produce illegal, hateful, deceptive, or infringing content. We may filter or refuse outputs, remove content, and suspend accounts for repeated or serious misuse. If you believe content infringes your rights, email us and we will investigate.
We retain all ownership of EasyLessonPlan, including its software, design, documentation, and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected.
You keep ownership of the details you enter and the plans saved to your account. You grant us permission to store and process that content only so we can provide the service to you. You are free to use, print, and share your generated lesson plans in your teaching.
We aim to keep EasyLessonPlan available, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Features may be added, altered, or removed.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss (including lost profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated lesson content. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
You may stop using the service and delete your plans at any time. We may suspend or close accounts for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When your account ends you may export or delete your plans; remaining data is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Uganda. This does not take away any rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in: if that law gives you stronger protection, or the right to bring a claim in your own local courts, you keep it.
We may update these terms. For any material change, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree to a material change, you may cancel before it applies and we will refund any prepaid period on a pro-rata basis. Minor, non-material updates (such as clarifications) take effect when posted, and the date below is updated.
